reheat
The soundtrack is a collage of noise taken from recent field recordings and old cassette tape archivals. The visual images are photographs from a TV screen. Each picture is taken at the point where two scenes merge, momentarily creating a 'new' image from the 'dissolving' old scene and the 'emerging' new scene. These newly found images have been cut to the rhythm of the soundtrack, appearing and disappearing from the screen, sometimes gradually and sometimes suddenly. Finally, the text was given to us by the artist John Carter written in response to the TV images.
